Group InfoTech was requested to evaluate the current Technology Infrastructure of a client facing rising costs and an obsolescence in specific technology environments. Industry benchmarks indicated that client distributed support expenses were increasing far above the industry standard.

Group InfoTech responded with an evaluation of the distributed infrastructure, including a detailed inventory, modeling and valuation of the asset base, and developed recommendations for remote management tools, obsolescence replacement strategies, and a 3 year plan for addressing costs. Group InfoTech asset evaluation and modeling tools, and Group InfoTech consolidation services were utilized in this engagement Group InfoTech was engaged to assist this client in planning and structuring a funding strategy for a Five Year structured desktop replacement policy.

Group InfoTech responded with a senior assessment team that evaluated future desktop and thin client Strategies, identified and inventoried all desktops applications, PC’s, and then developed schedules, and facilitated a structured vendor RFP process, and delivered and developed technology plans and processes strategies for a Computer Life Cycle Management program.
